Sunday Worship

 

11:00 am - 12:00 noon

Also available is a Children's Church a great place for children to learn about God and life in an atmosphere filled with fun, laughter and song. A church service that they can understand and enjoy coming to. Nursery Available if needed.

Adult Sunday School

 

  • Not meeting during Covid times

What do we offer Children Sunday Morning?

 

  •  Sunday School begins at 9:45-10:30am  

    • Until Christmas we have the Sunday school practicing songs during this time but after that, we begin our regular schedule of meeting every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

  • Moments with the Children

    • Then during worship, Pastor Karen has “moments with the children,” where she presently sends a brown bag home with a volunteer who places an object in it and brings back the next Sunday.  Pastor Karen doesn’t know ahead of time what that object is but she sees it, and prepares a short message using that object.  If she is at a loss as what to say, folks in the congregation are welcome to help her with the message.  It’s just a way of involving the kids and a break from the regular messages Pastor Karen has for the kids.

 

  •  Children's Church

    • After “moments with the children”, all 4-year olds thru 4th graders go with Miss Jennifer for children’s church.  She has some fun activities and is assisted by helpers.

 

  • Nursery

    • The little ones are invited to the nursery where Miss Abby is in charge and always has at least one adult helper.

 

  • All our folks who work with children are Safe Sanctuary certified – your children are safe with us!

Small Groups

 

  • Ladies Book Club - Wednesday @ 7:00 pm

    • Wednesday nights at the church, 7:00 p.m.  We read really good, typically spiritual books and discuss, sometimes watching a corresponding movie (DVD), take a short field trip for fun a couple times a year, and have a really good group of women who love to include new participants. Youth Group

 

The youth group meets at church on varies Sundays. They welcome ages 1st to 12th grade. During their time together they may go bowling, skating, or the movies. The Youth Group is also responsible for hosting the pancake breakfast! They also participate in many other community service activities. 

Communion/ Dinner

  • Communion is the first Sunday of every month. The United Methodist communion is open to everyone, regardless of profession of faith or background.

  • We have a potluck dinner after church on the third Sunday of every month. Bring your favorite dish to share! However, in November we celebrate Friendship Day so we have dinner on the first Sunday, 11 a.m. worship, with a dinner at noon.
